Christmas Tree Hunting

We went up on Saturday to help my sister-in-law's family find a tree for Christmas. It was a beautiful day and not too cold outside. We had fun driving up and stompin' through the snow. The kids were able to sled for a little while and we spent about 2 1/2 hours looking and playing. What a great family activity and we are hoping next year to cut a tree down for our family. When we got home we decorated our tree and had some hot chocolate, YUM!!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun this year for us. We had 3 other families over and had a wonderful time. We (Rod) fried 4 turkeys and they turned out GREAT!!! Of course I helped, but he did the hard part. The other families brought some wonderful side dishes and we had a great time eating, talking and playing. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving also. We have so much to be grateful for this year and we feel very blessed. I realized after we had eaten everything, but these two pies that I did not get any pictures of the food or the families, oh well.

Sun setting

The other night the sun was setting and it was beautiful, so I had to take a few pictures. I just love the colors and how vibrant they looked.

Cabin get away

Every year our Relief Society rents a cabin for one night and the sisters go and have dinner, a little spiritual message and stay up way late. I was able to go for the dinner and the message, but not to stay over night. It was a lot of fun and what a great way for the sister's to grow closer to each other.

Rexburg Temple

We are so excited to have a Temple so close to us. Rod and I went driving around the other day while the kids were in school and got some really good pictures of the Temple. We went Sunday night to a Fireside that the Stake was doing and they had the new Temple Presidency speak. President Christensen is amazing and what a wonderful spirit he has about him. He is really funny also. If you have not ordered your tickets for the open house don't forget to get on line and order them. I still need too.

Peace Out Dude!!

The kids were being silly the other day and I got the camera in time to take this picture of Paeton. It was so funny to watch and the low voice she was using was hilarious. She had us all on the floor rolling with laughter. Peace Out Dude is what she was saying. Why, I don't know!!!

Pumpkins

This is Nolan's pumpkin. He got to help carve it out and it turned out great.

I was going to post them all individually, but the other pictures came out blurry. Paeton's was the cat, Leland's was the bat and Rod did a AWESOME job on the "B" for Boston Redsox. I painted it red and it looked amazing. We had a fun time carving the pumpkins.

Class Party

The kids had their class party for Halloween. There were four moms, counting me, that got to help with the class party. We had a few games and some fun cookie decorating for all the kids to make. It was fun to see all the wonderful costumes.

Super Heroes!!

The kids were so CUTE in their costumes. I was not sure I would be able to find the costumes. I just happen to go to Kmart and they were having a 50% sale and decided to look. Well as you can see I found them. The kids had so much fun wearing their costumes and when we went to their school carnival they got all kinds of remarks from everyone. They are my super heroes.

Funny Pictures

The photographer gots some great candid shots of the kids and I thought I would share some that he took. They are priceless.

Pictures!!

We took the kids into JcPenney's a few weeks ago and had their pic's taken. They turned out really good. The photographer did a great job with the kids and had them laughing and having a great time. It was quick and painless this time. I can't believe they will be 6 in just a few months. It has been so much fun being their mom and watching them grew and develop. They are wonderful kids and we love them dearly.
