Through good times and BAD

The kids had the flu last week. They all had it at the same time. Thank goodness only Paeton and Nolan were throwing up. Leland did not throw up at all but he had a rough time with his tummy. We are all healthy now, but the picture of them just shows how much they are there for each other no matter what. Makes a Mom/Dad proud.

Snow Angels

The kids are SO EXCITED to be going up to Grandma and Grandpa's in about a week that they had to put their hats and gloves on and make Snow Angels. They said "They were practicing for when we get to Grandma's and Grandpa's". I just hope I am able to find their winter stuff when we get up there.

See, Speak and Hear No Evil

We went to a wedding for a friends daughter and our friends wanted a picture of the kids. The photographer thought it would be great if she could get the kids to do the famous "Don't See, Speak or Hear No Evil" with their hands. As you can see it did not go as planned. But the photographer tried her best.

Ready for Snow

The kids are so ready for snow. They had to wear their hats and gloves to school on Monday. Do you like the shorts? They are so funny.

Thanksgiving

Grandpa and Grandma came and spent a few days with us for Thanksgiving. We had a great time and the kids were so excited to have Grandma and Grandpa stay at our house.

Princess Paeton

Paeton is our little Princess. She loves to dress up and pose for anyone willing to watch. She is so much fun and a total girl. Don't let her cuteness fool you, she keeps the boys in line. She is a joy to have as part of our family and we love her dearly also.

Leland smiling

It is very rare that we get a true smile out of Leland. He usually has a goofy smile and we love it when he decides to show his pearly whites for all to see. He is our laughter everyday and we love him dearly.

Nolan showing his pearly whites

Nolan asked me to take a picture of him because he was happy. I was more than willing to take his picture. He is such a wonderful little guy and we love him dearly.

Paeton's new hair

On Saturday night I gave the kids baths for Church the next day. Well, Paeton decided she wanted her hair to look funky for church. So I suggested taking her hair and twisting it and putting rubber bands around it until in the morning. Can you say super twisted? Her hair was twisted so tight after it dried, I could not get the brush or the pick through it. I even tried water on the brush. I finally pulled it up into a pony tail on top of her head. After Church, she decided she did not want the pony tail any more. So the results as you can see are very "funky" in her words. She is doing her Vogue pose.

Super Hero's

Rod and the kids decided to play Super Hero's one night. Rod took pipe cleaners and made masks for the kids (boys) and himself. Then Rod would fly the kids down the hallway. They all had a blast.

Halloween

The kids had a blast for Halloween. We (I, Rod was out of town) took them to a few houses in the neighborhood and they were in heaven. When we got home they combined all their candy in one bag so they could share with each other. Leland is the blue ninja, Nolan is the red ninja and Paeton was a purple bat fairy.

Finally getting started

I hope we have finally figured out how to put our family blog together for us to keep in touch with everyone.
