Seriously, You can't live without one. Mine has died. I get Rod's hand me downs and they last for about a year and than I am out of luck. I hope my luck has changed and that Rod will be able to fix it for me. I can't get emails or add to our blog or leave comments on others.
If you could leave a comment, I can check your blogs from there when Rod has a minute to let me use his computer.
UUGGHH!!! I hope it is fixed SOON!!!

Rod and I have been married for 13 years as of today. It is hard to believe it has been that long because it does not feel like it. They have been wonderful years with struggles, laughter and lots of fun.
The Mesa Arizona Temple has a special place in my heart. I was living in Texas at the time and was not active at Church. I was struggling trying to figure out what I was to do. I prayed about it and also had a friends Dad give me a blessing. I moved to Arizona a few months later and lived with my friends aunt and her family until I could find a job and a place to live. I was still struggling and one day she said "I want to take you some where." So we hopped in her car and we headed down this road near her house and all I saw was the tops of the trees that go around the Temple grounds. I started crying and I knew I was doing what the Lord wanted me to do and that I needed to get active again. So a year later I went through the Temple and a year after that I started dating Rod and we were married in this BEAUTIFUL Temple.
I am so grateful for him and all that he does for our family. I am grateful for the love and friendship we share and so grateful for the family we have together. I am grateful we are together for Eternity.

Halloween
I really wanted to do a theme again this year but the kids did not want too. I was bummed but think they look awesome any way. I don't know what they were thinking about when they were smiling, probably "HURRY UP MOM!!! WE WANT TO GO TRICK-O-TREATING!!".
We had a builder, a cute witch and bumblebee the transformer.
Christmas
I am really excited about this Christmas. We are doing mostly homemade gifts for the kids with 2-3 store bought ones that they have asked for and that are not expensive, which is nice. Plus Rod's parents are going to be home from their mission and the kids (well all of us) are SO EXCITED!! It will be a lot of fun.
So I was looking at backgrounds and I really like the new one I but on my blog. It makes you want to have several feet of snow on the ground and have your family close by, well at least to me.

Super Saturday
I have been going like crazy today and it is only half over, boy!!
I went walking/running this morning. Walked for 2 miles and ran for 3.5. It felt great. Since I have been home, I have done laundry (about 2 loads to fold and 3 to wash), it is never ending, made bread, helped the kids clean their rooms and the playroom, vacuumed and put clothes away. I still have to mop floors and clean bathrooms and run a few errands while the kids are at a birthday party.
I usually get a lot of this done during the week, but I have had two sick boys and working at the bookstore and a few other things thrown in the mix. Not that I am complaining, I just would like to do something fun. Last night after we got the kids to bed, Rod and I decided to watch TV, we both fell a sleep and I woke up with drool all the way down my arm. It was pretty funny.
Hope you all have a great Saturday.

Life
Life has been so crazy around here lately and I am so far behind in posting. I finally got my camera downloaded onto a CD and now I have to catch up on all my post. I have pictures from the end of summer if that tells you how far behind I am. I wish I had my other printer that I could just download straight to my computer. I really don't like to wait so long to get a CD made. I have over 300 pictures to sort through and post about. WOW!!
Hope you are all having a Marvelous Monday!! We have been hit with a lot of rain these last two weeks and I can't believe how wet it is outside. I have been going for walks when the kids get on the bus and it has not been to bad coldness wise and today it was raining fairly good by the time I got back home. But it feels great to be out and enjoying the outdoors.
Have a great day and hope to have some pictures posted tonight.

Italian Chicken
Blend together:
1 family size can of Cream of Chicken Soup
1 8 oz package of cream cheese
1 packet of dry Italian dressing
In a crock pot put a little bit of sauce and put chicken tenders in and cover with remaining sauce.
If chicken tenders are frozen cook on high for a couple of hours or if early enough in the day you can cook on low all day until dinner time.
I cooked mine on high until an hour before dinner and switch to low.
Stir on occasion.
You can eat it over rice or potatoes. We had it over brown rice and it was really good and served a side salad with it.

Bubble Pizza
I got this recipe from a friend at the bookstore. It is so EASY!!!
Take a 9 x 13 pan (or 2) spray with Pam (or whatever spray you use).
I used Bisquick to make Biscuits this last time and they were better than the store bought in the pop cans.
Take and cover the bottom of the pan with the biscuits. Cover biscuits with sauce and than add your toppings. Cover with cheese.
Stick in oven (375 degrees). Cook until biscuits are done, about 15-20 minutes.
My family loves these and devour them in seconds.
Enjoy!!

Spud Harvest
I am sad that Spud Harvest is almost over and the kids have to go back to school this week. It has been fun having them home and they have enjoyed it also, but I think they are ready to get back to school. We have been reading a lot of books for the Read-a-thon over harvest break and recovering from last week. They are such a joy to have around and I truly miss them when they are gone all day. We have had a lot of snuggle time and I never get tired of that.

Forgot to Mention
A funny story that happened the morning Nolan and Paeton had their tonsils taken out.
Rod was home with Leland (if you know Leland, you will see where this story is going). Rod was getting ready to take Leland to a friends house to play for the day and getting ready for work (he is driving a truck for potato harvest). Rod decided to put his lunch box and cooler in his truck that was out in the garage. No big deal, but he was in his underwear and Leland decided to go out into the garage with him. Rod is ALWAYS telling the kids if they go out to shut the door or if they come inside to make sure the door was shut. Well, Leland following instruction did just as he has been told MANY times to do, he shut the door when he came out into the garage.
Needless to say Rod and Leland were locked out of the house. So Rod calls me at the hospital and tells me that I HAVE TO GET HOME RIGHT AWAY!!! I am thinking something SERIOUS has happened and than proceed to tell him that I can't leave with the kids being operated on and that a parent/adult has to be there at all times. He finally tells me what happened. I asked what phone he was using because his was locked in the house. He had Leland run next door and brought the neighbor back with him who was dying with laughter.
I told Rod I would make a phone call and call him back. So I called my friend who was taking Leland for the day and she came up to the hospital and got the key to bring it back to Rod. I called Rod back and he flipped and felt like he needed to remind me that he only had his underwear on. I told him to just sit in the truck and when she got there she was going to knock and to let Leland get the key from her and give it back to her once the door was opened. He was dying. When I got off the phone with Rod, he had the neighbor bring him some clothes to put on until he could get into the house.
Now it would not have been such a emergency, but this happened at 8:40a and Rod was to be at work at 9:00a. Thank goodness the hospital is only a few minutes away.
I was laughing so hard!!!! I asked Leland if he felt like he did something wrong and he said "No, Because Dad is always telling us to shut the door and so I made sure I did." Gotta love when the kids listen to you.
Lesson to learn: Make sure door is unlocked before you shut it or tell the person who is shutting the door to make sure the door is unlocked.
Biggest Lesson to learn: DO NOT GO OUTSIDE IN YOUR UNDERWEAR!!! LOL!!!

What my name means
I got this off another friends site and thought it was interesting. Here is where you can try your name and see what it says http://www.blogthings.com/whatsyournameshiddenmeaningquiz/
What Rolyndia Means
You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.
You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life. You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you.At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself.
You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.
You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in.You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising. You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care.
You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy.
You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. You are balanced, orderly, and organized. You like your ducks in a row.You are powerful and competent, especially in the workplace.People can see you as stubborn and headstrong. You definitely have a dominant personality.
You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic “Type A” personality.

Sleep
In desperate need of sleep. It has been a rough two days and I have heard the third is the worse of them all. They are both in need of some sleep also and their poor little throats are just killing them. They did sleep a little better last night, but we were up every 4-5 hours for Popsicles, water and medicine to help with the pain. I am going to make a few phone calls to find some humidifiers and see if that will help them. I don't think I am making any sense today, oh well. I don't think I have been this sleep deprived since the kids were born and came home from the hospital.

Recovery
Nolan and Paeton did awesome. The DR said that their adenoids were blocking 80% of their nasal airway and that both their tonsils were huge, but Paeton's were a little bigger. We are home now and both are doing great. Paeton seems to be doing a little better than Nolan, but he is not far behind. I hope tonight goes well also.

Tonsils and Adenoids
Tomorrow Paeton and Nolan are having their tonsils and adenoids taken out. Paeton keeps telling me she is going to hide in a box so that she won't have to have the surgery done and Nolan is saying "I can't wait!!". They are so funny. I know that they are nervous and scared, but I also know they will come out okay and will heal so fast they won't even realize it. It is going to be a long couple of days around our house. We went to the library today and checked a bunch of books, they are having a read-a-thon at school over spud harvest, and we got a few movies from there also. I have stocked up on Popsicle's, gator aide and medicine for them. Rod is driving trucks for spud harvest so I am on my own for this trip, but will be okay. Leland has decided to go to friends house to play for the day and I am grateful the mom said it would be okay. He did not want to go to the hospital with me, which I wish he was instead.

Time of year
I have decided that I don't like this time of the year. I don't ever get to watch General Conference on either day because I am the one trying to keep the kids quiet so Rod can watch it. So while he is watching it, I am either in the other room or downstairs trying to keep three 6 yr olds happy and it really makes me hate this time of the year. I don't mean to be a "Debbie Downer", but I have to say it has been YEARS since I watched conference or even read it in the Ensign. For once I would love to be able to watch it and get something out of it.
Hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Pulling Teeth
Seriously!!! Leland came home from school a few days ago and told me this funny story.
He and one of his favorite friends in class (we will call him "E") were outside playing at recess and E's tooth was loose and Leland asked if he could pull it for him. E told him yes, so Leland pulled his tooth and than gave it to E to put in his pocket. It was hilarious. Well today the kids came home with a letter from "them" (their teacher typed it up for all the kids to sign and take come to tell about their week at school, love it) and the story is in the letter to all the parents. Gotta love friends who are willing to pull teeth for you.

Camping
We went camping this last weekend. It was SO COLD!! During the day it was great, well except for the bee's (millions of them). We had four other families come with us, which turned out to be 10 adults and 16 kids in all. We stayed one night and one night of cold, freezing weather was enough for me. We slept in tents and we were warm once in our sleeping bags and warm pj's. We had some yummy chicken and dutch oven potatoes and a wonderful peach cobbler that was from my friend Emily along time ago at a Enrichment activity learning how to use a dutch oven. It was all to die for along with the breakfast burritos the next morning.
Sorry now pictures because I forgot the camera.
Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful fall weather.

Yummy Recipe
*C*H*O*C*O*L*A*T*E* C*A*K*E
(Made in a few minutes in a mug!)
1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour (that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Small splash of vanilla
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!) And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from fresh, hot Chocolate Cake at any time of the day or night!
I got this off my mom's board and thought I would share. It is really easy and very good. I made one last night and shared it with Rod.

Life
Life around here has been crazy. I don't like the fact that I have to wait for my camera to fill up with pictures before I can get them onto a disc so that I can post on to our blogsite. UUGGHH!!!
Well the kids have been in school for two weeks now and they are loving their class and teacher. I asked Nolan the other day if he liked school and this is how the conversation went:
Nolan: "NO!"
Me: "Why don't you like school?"
Nolan: "Because it is boring!"
Me: "What is boring about school?"
Nolan: "Because I am there ALL DAY!!"
Love his response.
I have also been helping a friends clean apartments up at the College. It was hard work, but I had fun with the ladies I worked with and got to know them better.
Now I am getting ready to help out in the kids classroom and it should be a lot of fun. I am looking forward to seeing them in their classroom and how they respond and act.
I hope to post pictures soon. I have a lot of pictures on my camera that I need to share with all of you.

School
I went yesterday to register the kids for school and I am having such a hard time with the fact that they will be gone all day and I only get to see them for a few hours a day. I am missing them like crazy already and don't know what I am going to do when school starts. It took everything I had not to cry yesterday at registration.
They are so excited and when they saw their classroom they shouted for joy because they get their OWN desk. I am happy that they are excited for school and I hope it stays that way. I signed up to volunteer to help in their class and I decided I better stop at three things instead all of them, LOL!!
Hope every one is having a wonderful summer!!

Chicken Nuggets
We had chicken nuggets for dinner tonight and they were so good!!
Chicken breast (skinless and boneless)
Bisquick
egg
salt
pepper
paprika
Parmesan cheese (the kind you sprinkle on spaghetti)
butter(3 tablespoons)
Preheat oven to 450
Cut the chicken into chunks. In a gallon zip lock bag mix all dry ingredients. Beat eggs (I used 2).
On a cookie sheet put some tinfoil and spray with Pam.
Dip chicken into egg and then put into dry ingredients and than put them on the cookie sheet. When the cookie sheet in full put into oven for 13-15 minutes. Than I turn over chicken and cook for another 8 minutes and than I turn the broiler on for about 5 minutes.
The eat them so fast and kept asking for more. We had BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard and ranch dressing for dipping. Very tasty!!

I went to Wal*Mart today and while I was there I noticed backpacks. It was a lot easier to buy them with out the kids with me. They are so excited for 1st grade to start. They are set with their new backpacks and their new lunch boxes. They think it is "So cool" that they get to take a lunch to school and eat it their.
The kids told me "That you are the best mommy ever because you bought us new backpacks"!! Love that they are so easy to please with the simplest things.
Nolan's backpack is the one in the picture. Lelands is black with a little white and Paeton's is chocolate brown with pink flowers (super cute).

My Sweet Nolan
Nolan is such a thinker. The other day he says "Mom, I don't want to go on a Misson." I asked why and his response was "I can't read The Bookof Mormon." I told him not too worry when he got big enough to go on a mission, he would be able to read The Book of Mormon.
A few days later, he tells me once again "Mom, I don't want to go on a Mission." I ask him again why and he said "I don't want to spend all my money in my bunny bank." I told him that he would not spend it all and that when he got back from his mission he would have money left over. His response was "COOL!!"

Memory Tag
I visited a friends blog and she had this one hers and since I left a memory of her, I had to follow the instructions. I don't have a lot of memories from when the kids were little so this might be a good tag or a bad tag, LOL!
1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.
If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Thinking about
Using this fabric for some curtains in our front living room.
http://www.hancockfabrics.com/product/iMainCat/3401/iSubCat/3424/iProductID/56870/56870.html
I was thinking of using this as the main fabric and maybe at the bottom and outside edge using a solid fabric. Not really sure. For those of you who seen our front room and can remember it, what do you think???

I have come to realize how much I miss my printer that I could just download my pictures onto so easily. I don't have it hooked up and now I have to wait for my camera to get loaded with pictures before I take it to Wal*Mart to have the pictures put on a CD. UUGGHH!! I was looking at the pictures on the camera with the kids earlier tonight and realized I have A LOT of catching up too day and hopefully soon.

One Year Ago
Today makes one year ago we packed up our things in Nevada and moved back here. I truly can not believe it has been a year. I am amazed how fast it has gone by. The funny (well not really) thing is that we are packing up again and moving back into our house. We are trying to get moved into it this weekend, but not sure if it is going to happen. But we shall see. The kids are excited to be back where we use to live and in the house they "grew up" in. They are all charged up about being in their old rooms. I hope this is the last move for a while because it makes #5 in 2 years and to be honest, I am tired of moving.

Ballet Recital
I finally was able to get Paeton into Ballet. She LOVED it. She had her recital a few weeks ago and did such a great job along with the other girls in her class. She is sad that she does not have lessons over the summer and is really excited to start up again. She was also so happy to have two friends in her class and I know that made a difference also. She was so nervous the night of her recital that she told me that if she stood still her legs would start to shake so she had to keep moving. She looked so beautiful that night also. What a doll and I am glad to call her my daughter.
