Back from our trip
The day after we got back, it was in the 60's and the kids were so excited to be able to wear shorts and tank tops. Of course, they were the only ones at the park wearing summer clothes. Everyone else had all their winter gear on and were giving us weird looks. It was nice to be back in warm weather, but sad because we had to leave Grandma and Grandpa's, whom we miss dearly and we had to leave all our friends until next time.
Snowmobiling with Daddy and Grandpa
The kids were able to go snowmobiling with Daddy and Grandpa one afternoon. Leland and Nolan were so excited and Paeton was a little unsure. Leland enjoyed it so much, he fell asleep while Grandpa was driving them on the sleigh through the fields. Paeton went for one ride and was ready to get off and wait in the car. Nolan could not get enough. After a few trips around the fields up near the dry farm (well, past that), Daddy took the boys one at a time for a spin or two on the snowmobile. You could not go fast enough for Leland and Nolan. They had a BLAST!!!
Playing in the snow
When we were up at Grandma nd Grandpa's for Christmas, the kids were so excited to be able to go out and play in the snow and FINALLY make snow angels. They had a blast make the snow angels and sledding down the hill in the back of Grandma and Grandpa's house. We played outside for an hour and their little faces were so cold, but they had a great time and enjoyed coming inside for hot chocolate.

Helping Grandma
The kids were fighting one day and Grandma decided to make some Cheesecake for dinner. So the kids were asked to help and they thought it was way cool to help Grandma. They got to make the crust by smashing graham crackers in a bag with a can or rolling pin. Also, they helped put the crust in the pan and helped put the cherries on top. Believe it or not, the Cheesecake turned out GREAT!!
Christmas Morning
Christmas Decorations at Grandpa and Grandma's
Grandpa and Grandma's house was amazing. The Christmas decorations were so beautiful that these pictures don't show how beautiful it really looked. The kids loved going around and looking at all of Grandma's work and finding some fun ornaments to show each other. The best time was at night when all the Christmas lights were on and the regular lights were off. It really felt like Christmas and it felt very peaceful. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma!
Temple Square
We thought it would be fun to take the kids to Temple Square to see all the Christmas lights. When we got there it took us a while to find a place to park and than ended up paying for a space in a parking lot. We got the kids out and it was REALLY COLD. We bundled them up and as you can see we did not make it very far because the kids were tired and hungry and cold. So we hurried back to the car and went to find a place to eat and the kids were asleep within 5 min of driving. It was nice because they slept until we found a restaurant. From there we went to our hotel and everyone crashed for the night. The lights at Temple Square are BEAUTIFUL and the pictures we took do not do them justice.
